Abstract

The scrapbook collected by Charlotte Frances Bohlin is during her time as a student at UNT. The scrapbook contains pictures, newspaper clippings, invitations, cards, programs, and other memorabilia items she collected while she was attended UNT. There are photographs, newspaper clippings, programs, invitations, and memorabilia items from Zeta Pi Gamma, Alpha Lambda Sigma, and other clubs and sororities.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

The materials in this collection were collected by Charlotte Frances Bohlin and reflect her activities while a student at UNT from 1944-1947. This collection includes pictures, newspaper clippings, invitations, cards, programs, and other memorabilia items that reflect student life from 1944-1947.

Collection Historical Note

Charlotte Frances Bohlin was a student at UNT from 1944 to 1947; she was a library sciences major. She was a founder, secretary, and Vice President for Zeta Pi Gamma, a member of Alpha Lambda Sigma, on the honor's list, the dean's list, named most outstanding student for Library Services, and was on the Leading list of extracurricular activities. Charlotte was also a member of the McCraken club, the Press club, concert band, symphony, and House President's club. The Call Number is a monthly publication created by the students majoring in Library Services. Alpha Lambda Sigma is the library fraternity. UNT was called North Texas State Teachers College (NTSTC) while Charlotte attended school. Glenn Frazior was part of the Falcon fraternity.

Biographical Note

Charlotte Frances Bohlin was a founder, secretary, and Vice President for Zeta Pi Gamma, a member of Alpha Lambda Sigma, on the honor's list, the dean's list, named most outstanding student for Library Services, and was on the Leading list of extracurricular activities. Charlotte Bohlin was also a member of the McCraken club, the Press club, concert band, symphony, and House President's club and library sciences major.
