Collection Historical Note

Nellie L. Griffiths was a North Texas State University Professor of Education; Supervisor in Laboratory School, supervisor, Student Teachers. She helped to develop an advance course in the psychology and teaching of reading with an emphasis on the psychology of the reading process. She established the Reading Laboratory.

This folder also contains an article and the manuscript copy (which was titled Criteria for a Report, News, or Discussion Period) of the article "Criteria for Discussion Period" by Nellie Griffiths, which was published in the December 1933 issue of The Texas Outlook.
