Abstract

Collection of materials pertaining to the well drilling company created by John Luther Myers in the 1890s. After his death in 1943, Myers' sons carried on the family business. Two of the Myers' siblings, DeWitt L. Myers and Robert F. Myers, co-manages the business from Denton and Dallas.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

Material consists of family biographical information, material from water well reports, well reports for Texas cities and counties, as well as documentation on water supply corporations that had wells drilled by J.L. Myers Sons during the period of 1949 to 1969.
