Scope and Contents of the Materials

This small collection contains autograph manuscripts of short compositions, as well as photocopies, and clippings from the life and career of Hedley Cooper.

Biographical Note

Hedley Cooper was born in Addingham, England, and came to the United States in 1920. He taught at Trinity University when it was located in Waxahachie, and was the concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Paul van Katwijk in the 1920s.
