Name: Annie Wilson


Historical Note: Annie Wilson was from Monticello, Arkansas. She attended and graduated, in 1913,  from the North Texas Normal College, now the University of North Texas.  She was a member of the Current Literature Club.  The motto by her picture in the Yucca, the school yearbook, was “Not for self but for all.”  The November 1913 issue of the Normal Journal noted that she was teaching second and third grades at the Odd Fellow’s Home in Corsicana.  She also taught in the Dallas Public Schools during the school year 1917-1918.
