The papers of J. Baird Callicott (1941- ) document his career as a professor of philosophy at the University of Memphis, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and the University of North Texas. The material includes class syllabi, documents, tests and quizzes used to teach his classes; articles used for research and in his classes; papers that reflect his involvement in conferences around the world; correspondence, contracts, grant proposals and reports; and a collection of media materials that include class paperwork, rough drafts of his writing and recordings of seminars.
