Scope and Contents: The records in this collection document Rose Sizemore's talent for teaching young children, especially in the arts. The collection includes handwritten and printed materials that reflect her varied interests including: music, dance, drama, speech, poetry, education, and travel. Of particular note is the large collection of sheet music and an original tune about Shirley Temple which was copyrighted by Sizemore. The collection also contains photographs, primarily of Sizemore's students, and other visual materials gathered during her years as a teacher and traveller.
