Carolyn R. Itri was born in New Jersey on July 8, 1922 to Stephen Robert Itri and Rose “Rosa” Barberio Itri. At the end of World War II, in 1945, she married Nicholas C. Soviero. They had several children. She passed away in her native New Jersey in 1997.
Nicholas C. Soviero was born in New Jersey on November 27, 1918 to Vincent Soviero and Louise Ammirati Soviero. He had two years of college, and enlisted in the United States Army on March 16, 1942. He served throughout World War II with the Army Air Corps 20th Air Depot Group, serving in various areas throughout Europe, North Africa, and the far east. In 1945, at the end of the war, he married Carolyn R. Itri. He worked for the Conrail of New Jersey railroad until retirement, and passed away on April 5, 2003, in Pocono, Monroe, Pennsylvania.
