Scope and Contents: The University of North Texas Foundation Records (1924-1982) contains numerous documents, letters, and newspaper clippings from scholarships and grants from the UNT Foundation, formerly known as the NTSU Educational Foundation, Inc. The NTSU Board of Regents established the foundation in 1972 to receive gift funds to be utilized for scholarships and grants for NTSU students. Correspondence with numerous distinguished UNT alumni, faculty, and local citizens is contained within the collection.
