Loyd Charles Stuck was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 5, 1928 to Forest A. Stuck and Esther Mariah (Cooper). Within a few years of his birth, the Stuck family moved to Kansas, where Loyd attended school. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and served from 1950 to 1952. By 1960 he was in Denton, Texas, and in that year he married Barbara Jean Crilly Stuck (later Wigington). They had two children, and were divorced in 1970. In 1974, Loyd married Mildred M Hanus Stuck (later Ardoin), and they divorced in 1990. In the 1970s, Loyd served on the Denton Chamber of Commerce. He had an interest in genealogy. Loyd passed away on August 8, 2008, in Irving, Texas.
