The papers that document the Denton Association for a Liberal Press include correspondence, financial documents, and printed material for the period 1969-1972. The newspapers that were published by this association were called "The Liberal Voice" and "The Voice." Contributions to the newspapers were made by University of North Texas faculty as well as members of the Denton, Texas community.
The newspapers are in an oversize box that also houses the Alvin Mansfield Owsley Collection, C.R. Fowler Hardware Company Records, and the Ruth Roach Salmon Collection.
