Scope and Contents of the MaterialsThe collection consists of one folder of correspondence, handwritten and typed drafts of his dissertation, and a typescript copy of his book, Origins of the Indians: European Concepts, 1492 - 1729, which is based on his dissertation. The dissertation and the book deal with what Europeans believed about the origins of American Indians.
