Scope and Contents of the Materials

The collection consists of approximately 15 boxes of papers, recordings of radio interviews, and other sound recordings, mostly in connection with Tater's career as host of jazz radio shows, principally at KJZY (Sonoma County, CA), and KETR (Commerce, TX).

Biographical Note

Bruce Tater was a jazz radio personality at KERA (Dallas) and KETR (Commerce). An obituary is available via the Greenville (Texas) Herald-Banner.
