Collection of materials relating to the career of E.C. Garrison, a realtor from the 1920s to the 1970s who was also involved in Denton politics from 1936 to 1948. Material consists of correspondence and memoirs; personal business receipts; Democratic Executive Committee material; real estate dealer licenses; Notary Public certificates; personal loan and insurance records; business correspondence; property deeds, leases, and contracts; rental payment records for clients; loan records; photographs and negatives of real estate; business receipts; business memoranda; tax records for clients; business expenditures ledgers; expenditures for the Democratic Executive Committee; rental payment ledgers; receipt books; check stubs; cancelled checks; personal and business bank statements; deposit slips; promotional brochures; and business cards. Items of noteworthy mention include a map of Denton County Public Schools, a 1927 cookbook, and a 1929 handbook of U.S. Presidents.
