Abstract

Collection of World War II materials. Material consists of the original diary of Captain Lee Baldwin as well as the unpublished manuscript of Corregidor Wife.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection consists of letters from the Philippines by Captain Lee Baldwin to his wife Aileen, the diary he kept after he was captured by the Japanes on Corregidor, and the manuscript, Corregidor Wife,written by Aileen about her husband's experiences in the war and her life and work on the homefront.
