Abstract
Scope and Contents of the Materials
Robert Enterline proposed a memorial be built for members of his Army Specialized Traing Program (ASTP) Unit, #3890. The unit was transfered from their training at North Texas State Teachers College to the 103rd Infantry Division in the spring of 1944 and was sent overseas to serve in France and Germany.
A memorial plaque was made and a ceremony for its unveiling took place on June 30, 1997 at the UNT University Union courtyard. The plaque was on permenant display at the union. It honors the ten men of AST Unit 3890 who died in action. Four members of the unit, John Dolan, Robert Enterline, Pierce Evans, and Dr. Andrew Setliffe were present at the ceremony.
