This collection contains materials related to Wallace L. Dinn.'s insurance business in Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as materials on the history of Dinn's business. The single box in the collection also contains records from the following collections: Denton Roofing and Metal Company; Arthur Dietrich; and Jewish Businesses in Fort Worth.
Collection Historical Note
Wallace L. Dinn (b. 1885) was the Founder of W. L. Dinn & Company Insurance, Inc. in Corpus Christi, Texas. He worked as ranch hand in Live Oak, Texas in his early life. He was also employed as a bookkeeper in Alice and Corpus Christi, Texas. In 1920, Dinn began working in life insurance sales. The same year, he was also involved with land development in Corpus Christi, Texas. By 1926, his insurance company had grown into a successful business.
