Scope and Contents of the Materials

The collection consists of  ten boxes, eight of which contain recordings in various formats and include performances by Conley,  the Metropolitan Opera, and Conley's students and colleagues. Also included are a small collection of sheet music and a folder of photographs.

Biographical Note

Internationally renowned tenor Eugene Conley was artist-in-residence at the University of North Texas from 1960 until 1978.
