Scope and Contents of the MaterialsFrom 2013-15, university photographer Junebug Clark shot a collection of images that showcase the University of North Texas and the Mayborn School of Journalism. This collection of photographs includes highlights from on and off the University of North Texas campus, from the Denton Blues Festival to the Ice Storm of 2013 to homecoming parades, football games and Ole-Miss vs. UNT basketball. The collection also documents the retirement of one university president, V. Lane Rawlins to the tenure of president Neal Smatresk. Finally, the collection documents memborable university activities including the Young Spurs Writing Contest held at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Archive, and the undergraduate commencement address by Governor Greg Abbott.These born-digital images are available in the Portal to Texas History.
