Scope and Contents of the Materials
The papers have programs that document Pauline Ward Wetherell's participation in the following clubs: the Current Literature Club, E. D. Criddle Historical Society, English Majors Club, and Kappa Delta Pi. Pauline Ward, from Tolar, Texas, graduated in May 1936 with a Bachelor of Science in English.
Collection Historical Note
Pauline Ward, of Tolar, Texas, graduated from North Texas State Teachers College (now the University of North Texas) in 1936. She received a Bachelor of Science in English. She served UNT as the Government Documents Librarian from approximately 1950 to 1954. She married Ralph Wetherell of Fort Worth in 1953. She then moved to the University of Wyoming, Laramie to work as a serials cataloger. She would also live in Tempe, Arizona. Ms. Wetherell was born September 19, 1914 and died on February 23, 2001.
