Scope and Contents of the MaterialsTwo scrapbooks, photographs, programs, and publications that document Lucille Wear Wilson's life as a student at the North Texas State Teacher College (now the University of North Texas). The items include photographs of campus, boarding houses, and the people she knew on campus. Included are; newspaper clippings, photos (Fry Street, Hickory, and the UNT campus), and personal paper items that belonged in Wilson's scrapbook.The documents include invitations, programs, a certificate, a commencement program, cards, a dance card, and a few examples of school work.

Scrapbook items, old photos, and Kappa Delta Pi documents.Barcode: 642712
One scrapbook composed of 25 black paper leaves. The scrapbook contains tickets, clippings, and photographs that show boarding house scenes, a gym bloomer outfit, her home at 1208 Hickory, campus scenes, a Fry Street boarding house, documentation of trips and other activities.
A collection of items that were not glued down in the scrapbook. They include a miniature children's book ("What Next? for the Little Folks"), program for a dinner with entertainment, clippings, school work, tickets, registration receipt for Anna Lucille Wear, and calendar card for January 1932.
Photographic prints primarily taken in the UNT campus area. The images contain various pictures of boarding houses on Fry Street, Hickory Street, and Mulberry Street, as well as the Administration Building (now known as the Auditorium Building). Individuals identified in the images include: Lucille Wear, Maggie Bob Wade, Alice Palm, Mrs. Paul Bird, Dorothy Babb, and Vivian B.
This folder contains several items that document Lucille Wear Willson's activities while a student. The items include: the "International Consitiution of Kappa Delta Pi", an honorary educational fraternity (1926-1928); a certificate that makes Lucille Wear a member of "The Scholarship Societies of the South" (1930); and a letter of recommendation for Ms. Wear from Geoge Medders, a professor of English (1924).
