Scope and Contents of the Materials
This collection contains World War II letters and related papers of Sergeant Frances C. Spring between 1942 to 1950. This includes v-mail, letters, passes, a 10 page inventory of the 312th Army Services Forces Band Library, a group of materials related to Richard N. Spring, and shoulder patches for T/3 grade.
Collection Historical Note
Sergeant Frances C. Spring was a 3rd grade technician of the United States Army technician ranks, established during World War II from the years 1942 to 1948 and brought back with other specialist rankings in 1955.
