The clippings concern Coach Jack Sisco's pick for the football team and a party being held by the Geezles.
Documents that concern the graduation of Ben Foster Powel with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics on May 29th, 1935. The papers include Mr. Powell's degree plan, a notice of what to wear to commencement, and the Baccalaureate and Commencement programs.
Letters from Dr. Kingsbury, a History professor and founder and head of the campus museum, the Historical Collection. There is also one letter from Freddie Campora.
The letters concern campus organizations. McConnell's letter to Mr. Powell concerned Powell's presidency of the Geezles.
Letters from Coach Jack Sisco inviting Ben Powell to take part in football camps.
The letter asks that the members of the Student Christian Association (S. C. A) be confirmed. There is also an add for a student election.
The Geezles were a social fraturnity on the University of North Texas campus. The organization was founded in 1927.
One copy of "Craggy Points" a student handbook and one copy of "Orientation, " a program of events freshmen.
The following programs are in this folder: "H. M. S. Pinafore" presented by the College Chorus on May 7, 1935 and "Fourth Annual Lone Star Track and Field Meet" that was held on May 11, 1935. The track meet program has a map of Eagle Park, the athletic and recreation area on campus.
This folder houses a collection of dance cards, banquest programs, and a "Student Activity Ticket" for Ben Powell.
