A collection of postcards concerning Texas, humor, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

The contents of this collection were assembled by four generations of the Knowles family.  The original collection was divided and donated to multiple repositories.  The University of North Texas received a large collection of postcards that document the cities, counties, state parks, lakes and rivers, and regions of Texas.  The collection also has a collection of cards that cover humor, Mexico, London, and various locations in the United Kingdom.
