545 0  _aEvelynne Holmes Vick was born in July 1947 in Waco, Texas. Vick was a UNT student from 1965-1969 in the College of Education, then went on to become an English teacher at Waco ISD. She was very active in her community and church, taking a political role in her later life with her involvement in the Texas Department of Agriculture and as a special assistant to Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. She died in September 2006.
